Four members of the vigilante group involved in a clash with night clubbers in Adavi local government area of Kogi state have been detained the police.
The clash with night clubbers at Hollywood Hotel in Iruvcheba area of Adavi LGA on Friday night led to the death of the hotel manager, Muhammed Onowuma and Ojo Moo.
Also, the Department of State Services (DSS) in Lokoja, the Kogi state capital, on Sunday, invited the management of Hollywood Hotel and three other persons for questioning to aid their investigations.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Chairman of Adavi local government council, Hon. Joseph Omuya Salami urged the security agencies to ensure thorough investigation into the matter.
He promised to avail the security agencies and investigative team necessary support to ensure justice for the dead.
“I desire to see my people living in peace and I am very much determined and prepared to accomplish it,” he said.
